“such a connection with the guitar.” - Led Zeppelin’s Jimmy Page

“one to watch” Jazzwise magazine

With a clear sense of purpose, 22-year-old London-based singer, songwriter and guitarist Rosie Frater-Taylor blurs the lines between jazz, folk, pop & soul. Think Joni Mitchell meets Pat Metheny, Lewis Taylor teams up with Emily King or a female version of John Mayer.

Raised in a very musical household - both her parents being professional musicians – Rosie started playing drums at a young age creating the rhythmic foundations for her future writing. After picking up the guitar, ukulele & bass soon after, Rosie found her roots in jazz & writing simultaneously studying at Tomorrow’s Warriors, NYJO, the Royal Academy of Music and attending songwriting workshops at the Roundhouse. At 16, she started laying out multi-layered guitar-based demos on Cubase, which would eventually become her self-produced debut album ‘On My Mind’ (2018), a unique collection of songs which garnered praise from BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson “genuinely exceptional”, BBC Radio 1’s Abbie McCarthy “complex, jazzy, smooth, delicate”, songstress Becca Stevens “badass”,

On her upcoming album ‘Bloom’ due for release on June 4th, Rosie takes us on an eclectic journey while keeping her trademark luxurious vocals and unique guitaristic song structures.

Following on from a successful year of releases with support from the likes of 6 music, Jazz FM and Worldwide FM, as well over 500k streams to date, Jackson Mathod recently released his debut album ‘Travels In A Confined Space’.

The 28-year old trumpet player studied Jazz at Guildhall, where he developed his undeniable skills on the instrument and sensibility for songwriting.

However, never feeling fully embedded in the jazz world, he quickly went onto the session musician circuit, playing for high profile artists such as Stormzy or Jordan Rakei.
